At Greenfield Nursery and Primary School, located in Hamurwa Town Council, Rubanda District, southwestern Uganda, we believe that poverty should never prevent a child from receiving an education. About Greenfield Nursery and Primary School
Greenfield Nursery and Primary School is a community-focused educational institution established in 2012 to provide learning opportunities for children, including those from vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds.
Through our work, we strive to create an environment where children can receive an education, develop their abilities, and prepare for a better future.
Today, our school serves approximately 580 children, including 260 boarding pupils. Caring for so many children requires food, educational materials, bedding, and other essential resources.
Although we remain committed to giving every child an opportunity to learn, meeting all these needs with limited resources is a considerable challenge. We therefore welcome partnerships with donors who share our belief that every child deserves an opportunity to succeed.
- Help Us Provide Meals for Children
A hungry child may struggle to concentrate in class, participate in lessons, and achieve their full potential. Providing food is therefore an important part of supporting children's education and well-being.
At Greenfield, we need continued support to provide meals for the children, particularly those who depend on the school for their daily care.
Food supplies such as maize flour and other essential ingredients help us prepare meals for our pupils. However, feeding hundreds of children requires regular resources, and the cost can be difficult for the school to meet alone.
You can make a difference through a simple contribution.
For example, a donation of US$14 can help us purchase a 25 kg bag of maize flour for preparing meals for the children. Several donations can help us purchase additional food supplies and meet the needs of more pupils.
