A Hall That Will Change Lives at Greenfield Nursery and Primary School

In the beautiful hills of Rubanda District in southwestern Uganda, hundreds of children wake up every morning with hope in their hearts and determination in their steps. For many of them, Greenfield Nursery and Primary School is more than just a place of learning—it is a place of safety, belonging, and opportunity.

Run by Greenfield Kids Foundation, this school currently supports over 580 children, many of whom are orphans or come from extremely vulnerable families. Here, they receive not only an education, but also care, guidance, and a chance to dream of a better future.

But despite this progress, there is still a major challenge holding these children back.

The Urgent Need: A Multipurpose Hall

Right now, the school lacks a proper space where children can gather, eat, sit for exams, or participate in important school and community activities.

This is why we are working toward building a multipurpose hall at Greenfield Nursery and Primary School—a project that will transform daily life for every child at the school.

This hall will serve many important purposes:

A dining hall, where children can enjoy their meals in a clean and organized environment
A chapel, providing a peaceful space for prayer and spiritual growth
A meeting hall, where parents, teachers, and the community can come together
A proper examination hall, giving students a quiet and fair environment to perform their best
An upper floor with:
- A computer lab, introducing children to digital skills
- Additional classrooms, helping reduce congestion

Currently, many of these activities take place in overcrowded classrooms or temporary spaces. This limits the children’s learning experience and affects their comfort and performance.

This project is not just about constructing walls and a roof. It is about restoring dignity, improving learning conditions, and creating opportunities for growth.
