Greenfield Kids Foundation is a community-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting needy children and orphans in Rubanda District, Uganda

Greenfield Kids Uganda

Greenfield Kids Foundation is a charity that supports needy children and orphans in Rubanda District, southwestern Uganda.

The foundation was established in 2009 and officially registered as a community-based organization in 2017. It was founded by Akampurira Robert, who is currently the director. In 2012, the foundation started Greenfield Nursery and Primary School, which now has 475 children, aged between 3 and 16 years old

The school is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports under registration number PPS/G/275

Bringing Hope to Vulnerable Children

For over 16 years, we have connected compassionate people like you with meaningful ways to support orphaned and vulnerable children. With the help of our supporters, we provide education, food, medical care, and emotional healing to 500 children and their families each year.

We partner with local churches, ministries, and organizations worldwide, offering expertise, funding, and volunteer support to strengthen their efforts. Our programs empower local leaders—those who know their communities best—to bring lasting change and restore hope.

Founder and Director of Greenfield Kids Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and orphans in Rubanda District, Uganda.

Having grown up in a low-income family, I personally understand the hardships faced by children living in poverty. Despite these challenges, I completed high school and began pursuing a career in education with the dream of becoming a teacher. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my college education due to the withdrawal of support from my sponsor.

Motivated by my own experiences and inspired by the generosity of those who once helped me, I established Greenfield Kids Foundation to give back and create opportunities for children in need. Our mission is to provide education, care, and hope to children who are at risk of dropping out of school or losing their futures due to poverty and lack of support.

With the help of compassionate individuals who care deeply for the well-being of children, I believe we can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Through Greenfield Nursery and Primary School, our committed team of educators, volunteers, and supporters provides a nurturing, safe environment where children are not only educated but cared for emotionally and psychologically. Our holistic approach combines academic instruction with mentorship and trauma-informed emotional support, ensuring that every child receives the tools they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
